Municipalities, associations & land management

Climate-stressed land: measure it, plant it, evidence it

For municipalities, associations and land-management bodies that develop a site over years and have to show it afterwards — built for the place the land is actually in, not for one country.

Five steps, in the order a real programme runs

Every step is built and visible in the app. What is not built is not listed here.

    GeoJSON · WFS

Import parcels instead of tracing them

Boundaries already exist digitally — as a cadastral export or in a geodata service. Both go through the same parser: no simplification (it would change the area), no silent reprojection, and a file in UTM is refused as such rather than read as degrees. Inner rings are named, not hidden.

    Climate risk · resilience

Measure the site, don't estimate it

Fire weather, aridity, heat stress and erosion susceptibility from open data, plus slope and aspect from four elevation samples. Every signal carries its source and coverage — and what cannot be assessed stays grey rather than green.

    32 species

Choose species that fit the site

A dedicated renaturation catalogue spanning Mediterranean to temperate regions, with fire behaviour, resprouting after fire, drought, frost and salt tolerance. Each placement is justified — and the same list names what to avoid here.

    Year by year

    Plan a multi-year programme

The hedge this year, the first cut next year, the replanting after that. Each row shows whether the journal evidences it — there is nothing to tick off, because booking the measure is the tick. A rotation conflict is named while it is still a line in a table.

Produce evidence that shows the gaps

The GLÖZ traffic light with all four states — including “not assessable”, because a missing basis is not a clean bill. Three area figures, each labelled for what it measures. If the journal is truncated, that stands in grey above everything it qualifies.

Three rules that are not negotiable

They are written into the product's concept, and they are why the figures above hold up.

    No invented number

Where the basis is missing, nothing is estimated. A value without a measurement would cost more in a funding report than a gap does.

    “Not assessable” is not “fine”

Grey is a state of its own — on screen, in the report and in the AI context. It says the evidence is missing, not that the rule is met.

    No country-specific logic

Sun-facing means equator-facing, not “south”. What holds in Brandenburg has to hold in Andalusia — otherwise it does not hold here either.

Describe briefly what it is about — you get a real assessment back, even when the answer is “we are not the right provider for that yet”.
